Air Touraine, or a passion for the skies!

 

A family business established by Aimé FABREGAT in 1978, with agricultural treatment by helicopter as its initial activity.

It’s tourism activitybegan in the 1980s with acquisition of a 5-seat helicopter, with the idea of flying passengers over the Loire Chateaux.

In the early 1990s, The company also decided to extend its activity to helicopter surveillance of ENEDIS power lines.

In 2006, the business was taken over by the two sons, Olivier and Philippe FABREGAT, who had been with the company for 20 years.

In 2008, the decision was made to open up to a high-demand, highly complementary activity: balloon flights. A brand new hot-air balloon arrived in March 2009 to kick off the season.

In 2013, the company invested in France's first hot-air airship.

Wishing to develop its activities further, the company launched an event agency "Air Touraine Events" in 2017, followed by a flight school "Air Touraine Academy" in 2019

Today the company has 15 employees, including 6 professional pilots, an agency manager and 3 project managers, and has a fleet of 5 BELL 206 helicopters, 3 hot-air balloons and an airship.

It offers an ever-growing range of possibilities, on the tourist, event and aerial work fronts alike.
