Flights shared with other passengers
Shared flights are flights on which you share the aircraft with other people.
Maximum capacity: 6 passengers.
Introductory flights, scenic flights over Villandry, Amboise, Chenonceau, and Chambord.
Maximum capacity: 16 passengers.
Hot-air balloon rides over the Loire Valley castles and in the Sarthe region.
Maximum capacity: 3 passengers.
Classic airship flight.
The flying season generally runs from March to October, weather permitting.

Key Reservation Guidelines
Transfer of Tickets
You may transfer your tickets to a third party, but you must notify us. The recipient must agree to these terms and conditions of sale.
Rates
Our services are also resold through our partners. Air Touraine cannot be held responsible for the rates posted by these partners and will not issue any refunds for any price differences.
Reservation
Full payment for tickets is required at the time of booking. Booking vouchers are valid for 18 months. You must book a flight date within their validity period.
Visit the airtouraine.fr website and go to the “I have my tickets, I’m booking” section to make your reservation.
You can sign up for our ticket extension option to extend its validity period.
Withdrawal and Cancellation
Terms and Conditions Applicable After Purchase
Cooling-Off Period
In accordance with the Consumer Code, you have a 14-day withdrawal period following the purchase of your service directly from Air Touraine.
This time limit does not apply to tickets purchased from our partners and cannot be exercised if a flight date has already been booked.
To request a refund, you must complete and return the cancellation form available in the “My Account” section of our website. The refund will be issued by check or bank transfer.
Cancellation
Tickets are non-refundable. However, you can purchase a cancellation option.
Tickets purchased through partners are not eligible for cancellation insurance and are non-refundable.
Flight Delay
Safety remains the top priority
Only the pilot can judge the feasibility of the flight.
If weather conditions are unfavorable—excessively high temperatures, wind, gusts, rain, or a storm—the flight will be postponed to a later date.
If the hot-air balloon basket, helicopter, or airship gondola is not fully occupied, the flight may also be postponed.
Since flights are weather-dependent, a flight may be rescheduled several times. We recommend that you purchase the cancellation option if you’re only staying in the area for a short time.
Statistically, morning hot-air balloon flights are the least likely to be postponed.
Depending on pilot availability, a hot-air balloon ride may be replaced by a helicopter ride at the same price.
You will receive a text message half a day before your flight to let you know whether it has been confirmed or postponed. Since weather conditions can change quickly, a pilot may cancel a flight at the last minute to ensure your safety.
Failure to Appear and Tardiness
If you do not show up at your check-in time on the day of your flight, your ticket will be forfeited.
We do not accept delays.
Physical Requirements

Helicopter
You'll be comfortably seated on board our aircraft. Therefore, there are no age restrictions or specific physical requirements for taking a flight.
Children aged 3 to 4 are permitted on short-haul flights. Please let us know if you need special assistance, particularly if you have limited mobility.
Hot-air Balloons and Airships
A hot-air balloon ride is a peaceful flight, carried along by the wind, but it requires good physical condition.
Passengers must be able to step into the gondola. Upon landing, they must be able to bend their legs and hold that position for 10 seconds.
Pregnant women are not allowed on board. Children must be at least 7 years old and taller than 1.30 m to be allowed on board.
If you have a serious medical condition or have recently undergone surgery, we recommend that you consult your doctor before making a reservation.
Practical tips
Dress Code
As with any recreational activity, we recommend casual attire and comfortable shoes, especially for the hot-air balloon and airship rides.
For the hot-air balloon ride, be sure to bring a hat in case it's sunny. The temperature inside the basket can be up to 10 degrees higher than the outside temperature.
