Hot-air ballooning : FAQ

1/Baptism of the air in a hot-air balloon: physical conditions?

The activity requires good physical condition. You need to be able to step over the gondola from a height of 1.10 m and stand upright throughout the flight.

The flight is not recommended for pregnant women or people with prosthetic limbs.

Children aged 6 and over are welcome, provided they are over 1.25 m tall.

2/Do I risk vertigo and airsickness aboard the balloon?

On board, you won't feel any vertigo because you're not connected to the ground. The flight is very gentle, with the wind carrying the basket.

3/What is the price of a hot-air balloon ride?

Hot-air ballooning is available at attractive rates, as the flight takes place during the week, from Monday to Friday, departing from our heliport near Tours.

The balloon tour is available in a gift box, valid for 18 months at a cost of €150/person.

4/The hot-air balloon ride: how does it work?

Flights take place at sunrise or sunset, the most favorable time of day. Your hot-air balloon flight will be confirmed the day before your flight, depending on weather conditions, so that you can enjoy your balloon trip in complete safety. Your flight can therefore be postponed several times.

The pilot and his crew will meet you near the take-off site.

After the safety briefing, you'll watch the balloon being inflated.

You'll then climb aboard the gondola for an open-air flight as the wind blows, discovering breathtaking landscapes and the surrounding countryside. Emotions guaranteed!

On landing, you'll take part in folding the envelope before the balloonist's drink over a glass of Champagne.
