Welcome and check-in at Tours Val de Loire airport
Yourhelicopter flight departing from Tours Airportbegins right at theTours Val de Loire heliport, in the heart of Touraine. Getting there is quick and easy:
- 5 minutes from the A10 (Paris - Bordeaux) and A28 (Le Mans) motorways,
- about 10 minutes from downtown Tours and the Saint-Pierre-des-Corps TGV station,
- just 55 minutes from Paris Montparnasse by TGV.
Once you arrive, you’ll be greeted by our Air Touraine team andyour experienced pilot, who will accompany you to the boarding area for yourintroductory flight—the “Tourangeau.”
Safety briefing and installation on board
Before takeoff, your pilot will conductacomprehensivesafety briefingand explain the flight plan, the route, and the guidelines you need to follow. You will then take your seat on board the helicopter, equippedwith a headset with a microphoneso you can listen to the pilot’s commentary and easily communicate with him and the other passengers.
The flight: 10 minutes over Tours and the Loire River
Shortly after takeoff, you’ll enjoya stunning panoramic view of the Vouvray vineyardsand their unique estates, followedby a view of the Loire Riverwinding through hillsides and quaint villages, and finallya view of Tours, its cathedral, and its picturesque streets.
Upon landing, our pilot invites you to enjoy a friendly moment by taking photos in front of the helicopter to capture the memory. It’s a great way to wrap up a truly unforgettable experience.
